Summer League Notes

Valuables:

There have been reports of possible thefts from the St. George's parking lot.  No matter what field you are playing on, please take care of your valuables.  If possible, leave them at home.  If you must bring them to the field, please do not leave items in plain view, make sure your car doors are locked, and even consider putting valuables in the trunk where they are more difficult to see/steal.

Lastly - if you see any suspicious activity in the parking lot - please call Police and let someone on the LUC Board know.

Weather:

League games are weather independent.  We play rain or shine.  Please be prepared to play in all weather conditions.  The only exception is for electrical storms.  Games should be halted if lightening is observed within striking distance of the fields.  Please take shelter in buildings or vehicles (not under metal structures or trees).

Thanks to everyone who made the first night of Summer League 2009 a great success!  LUC has again posted double-digit growth moving from 13 teams in 2008 to 17 teams in 2009!  Thanks for all your support.
